Hi Castlab.
One new Ph.D student(Seungjae) and five new master’s students(Seri, Junyoung, Jinho, Jieon, Sungwoong) have joined Castlab since this 2023 spring semester. Seungjae, Seri, Junyoung, Jinho, Jieon, and Sungwoong are interested in a software-hardware co-design approach in AI accelerator and processing in/near memory.

“Hello, I’m Seungjae Yoo, a new Ph.D. student at CastLab. I’m delighted to be a part of Castlab. I joined CastLab because of my hunger for studying digital circuits and Processing-in-Memory. I’ll be steady, consistent, and devote myself to research.”

“Hello, I’m Seri Ham, a new M.S student at CastLab, KAIST. I’m so glad to join Castlab and looking forward to the time I’m going to study here. I have an interest in design digital circuits like ‘AI accelerator’. I will do my best and work hard to produce good results.”

“Hello, My name is Junyoung Hwang, and I’m a new M.S. student at KAIST. I’m very excited to join CastLab because I’m very interested in AI chip design and Reinforcement Learning. I aspire to be a leading researcher in the future, so I will work hard to learn and study in this lab.”

“Hello, I’m Jinho Yang, a new M.S student in KAIST. I’m so glad to be in the CastLab with good and smart people. My interest is to design vision transformer AI accelerator and implement it in autonomous driving applications. I’m very excited to do research that’s one step ahead of the world, and I’ll do my best for my research. Thank you.”

“Hello, I’m Jieon Yoon, a new M.S. student at CastLab. I am glad to join Castlab. I want to research about accelerator for state of the art AI technologies. However, I am still lacking in many things, so I need to learn a lot. I look forward to learning a lot by joining Castlab.”

“Hello, I’m Sungwoong Yune, a new M.S. student at CastLab, KAIST. I am excited to join Castlab. I want to learn and research about Processing-in-Memory. I will keep study and think for my growth in my researching areas.”
