Prof. Joo-Young Kim and his students publish the book “Processing-in-Memory for AI: From Circuits to Systems”

Congratulations!

We publish the book “Processing-in-Memory for AI: From Circuits to Systems”

This book is the first book that describes the PIM technology thoroughly, from architectures to circuits for major memory types (SRAM, DRAM, and ReRAM).

Prof. Joo-Young Kim co-authored/co-edited with Prof. Bongjin Kim at UCSB and Prof. Tony Tae-Hyoung Kim at NTU. His students also participated as writers that “Ch4. DRAM-Based Processing-in-Memory” and “Ch7. PIM Software Stack” from Donghyuck Kim and “Ch6. PIM for ML Training” from Jaehoon Heo.
